Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-26. Effective: 2026-05-26.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using an Xpansions API key to call this service ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. The service
Xpansions provides a Sitecore Content Hub developer assistant exposed over the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Specific tools, endpoints, and their behaviour are documented in the project README.
3. Accounts and keys
- Accounts are self-service; sign up with email or Google.
- API keys are personal; do not share them. You are responsible for all usage under your key until you revoke it.
- If you suspect a key has been compromised, rotate it from your account portal or email us.
4. Credits and billing
- Each tool call deducts credits from your key's balance as documented per tool.
- Credits are non-refundable except where required by law.
- We reserve the right to throttle or suspend usage that exceeds your credit balance or violates these Terms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to access systems you do not own or are not authorized to access.
- Generate, store, or transmit illegal content, malware, or content that infringes third-party rights.
- Reverse-engineer the Service, except to the extent permitted by law.
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, credit deduction, or authentication.
- Use the Service to build a competing service.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of all content you submit through the Service. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for what data we collect and how we handle it.
7. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third-party platforms (Sitecore Content Hub, GitHub, Google Gemini, Microsoft Azure). Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability or behaviour.
8. Availability
The Service is provided as-is and as available, with no uptime guarantee unless a separate written SLA is in effect. We perform maintenance from time to time; we will give reasonable advance notice where practical.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, or for any reason with 30 days' notice. On termination, Sections 6, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Luxembourg. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Luxembourg.
